Flax is another name for Linseed – a valuable addition to any diet for its Omega-3 content.
Flax meal is used to make ‘flax egg’ – a plant-based alternative to a chicken egg: Use 15 ml flax meal soaked in 30-45 ml of water, soaked for 10 minutes. This mixture is equal to one chicken egg, it becomes gooey and will help hold a batter together.
