We’re yet to come across a diner who does not enjoy the freedom of playing with various tastes and flavours offered on the table. Some are already plated as part of the meal, while others are offered separately to the adventurers and alchemists of food in te form of sauces, dukkas, chutneys, pickles or salsas – add a little taste of this, a dab of that and see what new explosion occurs in your mouth. That is how we reach our own personalised taste sensations. and they are unique. That is also how we create dimension in a meal, meaning not every bite is the same as the previous one. One can now randomly tweak and adjust to heart’s content and each guest’s experience is different!
The SHU SHU Chutney is a great favourite on any table at Old Joe’s Kaia – it has a generic profile that suits most palates. What we really like about Shu Shu is the fact that it retains crispness, a resistance in its bite which makes this chutney stand out from the rest – it is not mushy.
